Forum Restaurant to Reopen 4 Months After Boston Marathon Events

 

Four months after the April 15 Boston Marathon blasts, Boston restaurant and DiningIn.com restaurant partner Forum will officially reopen.

Located on 755 Boylston Street, the Back Bay restaurant employees assisted numerous attendees and victims affected by the explosions, being just feet away from the finish line.

Renamed to Forum Bar & Restaurant, the new look and alteration efforts by Morris Nathanson Design will introduce new executive chef Dan Schroeder, who will incorporate a more contemporary menu serving Forum Deep-Fried Peach Pie and Forum Srawberry Goat Cheese Salad with White Balsamic Dressing.

The support of the community has flooded Forum’s social media accounts, where the Forum team has been actively updating fans with the remodeling, as well as expressing gratitude through their main website:

“We are eternally thankful to the city of Boston for the overwhelming outpour of support, words of encouragement, loving messages, and all of those who stood by us as we tackled this very complex and traumatic part of our lives.  We would like to invite all of you to join us at the NEW Forum. We love you Boston.”

After much anticipation, the restaurant will host a private charity event tonight alongside the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, according to its website, “to finish what we started during that April morning.”
